Ms. Ruby Lee Simpson, age 95, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Carrollton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Ruby was born in Jacksonville, Alabama on August 30, 1922. Through the years, she enjoyed taking care of her home and spending time with her family. Ruby loved her church home, White Oak Springs Baptist Church. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend that wore a smile and loved to sing.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Diceglie, Orlando, Florida and Phyllis Simpson, Villa Rica, Georgia, daughter, Edith Marie Sayah, Washington State, son, Johnny Lee Simpson, Bremen, Georgia. extended generations.
In addition to her husband, Quinton Roosevelt Simpson, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Florence Parks.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, 12 Noon at J. Collins Funeral Home.
Interment will follow the service at Riverview Cemetery in Smyrna, Georgia.
