Warren Earl Hunter, 69, of Callahan, FL went home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2018.

He was born on June 3, 1948 in Jacksonville FL to Aubrey L. and Clara Beall Hunter. Warren was a lifelong resident of Nassau County. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was co/owner of Hunters Auto Electric. He enjoyed fishing and loved to fish in Bass Tournaments regularly, he enjoyed hunting and scuba diving, square dancing, playing tournament softball and playing ball for the church league. He was an active member of River Road Baptist Church where he was involved with the youth and kids ministry and loved to sing in the choir.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years; Deborah, children; Chris (Dana), Kim Kish and Robert (Erin), mother; Clara Hunter, siblings; Kenneth (Kathy) Hunter, Janice (Dave) Marvin, Karen Conner, Sandy (Rich) Turner and Aubrey (Brenda) Hunter, JR, 9 grandchildren, 12 nieces and 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; Aubrey L. Hunter.

A viewing will be held on Monday April 23, 2018 from 6-8:00 PM in the Nassau Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Tuesday April 24, 2018 at River Road Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Hal McIntosh officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
