Arnold Kelly Burch, 84 of Hilliard, passed away April 18. He was born on June 11, 1933 in
Charlton County, Georgia to Mark and Effie Burch. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the great
outdoors. He also loved cookouts and visiting with family and friends. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy at which time he fought in the Korean War. He then retired from the City of Jacksonville,
Water/Sewer Dept.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Burch was predeceased by a son Alton Kelly and siblings Louis Tracy Burch, Sidney Burch, Wendell Burch, Lacy Burch, M. Laverne Burch, Mary Lou Pickett, Alma Conner, and Shirley Wingate. Survivors include siblings Robert (Lynda) Burch, Donald (Chrissy) Burch, James (Barbara) Burch, Jerry (Kathy) Burch, Linda Burch Hand, Iris Bargeron and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Monday April 23 at Callahan Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 24 @ 12:00 noon also at Callahan Funeral Home with burial following in Jones Cemetery in Callahan with Pastor James Conner officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Gambrell, Jason Gambrell, Ethan Burch, Brent Burch, Malcom Burch and Jason Cravey.
