Nan Louise Lee Jarman, 79, died May 4, 2006 at Forrest General Hospital. Memorial services will be held in her honor at 4:00 pm, Sunday, May 14, 2006, at Petal Civic Center in Petal, Mississippi. Mrs. Jarman was attended by her immediate family at a graveside service at Greens Creek Cemetery on May 6, 2006.
Mrs. Jarman was born on August 28, 1926 in Petal, MS to Nathan Valverde and Winnie Mae Wilson Lee. She was raised on a farm in Leeville with her brothers, Roy, Norris and Junior. She often spoke fondly of growing up with her brothers, cousins and Betsy, Mert and Peggy and their escapades. She had a sister, Clara Joyce, who died before Nan was born. Mrs. Jarman graduated from Petal High School in 1944 where she was very involved in school activities such as basketball and cheerleading.
