Joseph Benjamin Cope, age 71, of Mayfield, KY died at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 2, 2105 at his residence. Joseph was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church, he was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and was a retired high table operator from the former General Tire & Rubber Company. Survivors include his wife - Carol Ann (Nanny) Cope of Mayfield; son - Donnie Cope of Mayfield; brother - Ronnie Cope of Mayfield; grandchildren - Brooke (Adam) Barnes of Fancy Farm, Tyler Cope of Reidland, Trevor Baldwin of Louisville; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter - Dana Cope Baldwin and his parents - R.B. & Etha Mae (Crawford) Cope. Memorial visitation for Joseph will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
