SAN DIEGO -- Charlotte was born November 10, 1925 in San Jose, CA. She died April 25, 2014 at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Anthony T. Dunn, two of her five children, Teresa Freborg of Oakridge, OR, and her son, Anthony Jr. of Paradise, CA. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Andrew Freborg and Sandra Freborg and a great- grandson Aidann Freborg. After graduating from Sacramento Junior College, she enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where she became an electronics technician. While in the Navy, she met her husband and traveled with him to his various duty stations. She and her daughter Teresa graduated together from San Diego State in 1977. She was a piano teacher for many years, but her interest turned to genealogy, and she became a family historian tracing her family and the families of her clients. She delighted in discovering her connection to history, particularly the American Revolution. As per her wishes, her ashes will be scattered at sea by her son. Her favorite charity was the San Diego Humane Society.
