She was survived by her children, John Hood of Somerset, Kentucky, Marie Price of Somerset, Kentucky, and James A. Hood of Bremerton, Washington; her brother, Albin Irvine of Science Hill, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Irvine and Amanda (Hogue) Irvine; and her husband, William Oscar Hood.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Somerset Undertaking Company with Reverend Richard Hinson and Reverend Warren Carroll officiating.
