Patsy Ann Whitten, 72, passed away on April 26, 2018 in Memphis, TN. Patsy was originally from Bells, TN where she attended Bells High School. She attended college at Jackson State Community College. Patsy was a retired Self Employed Courier Driver. She leaves in memory her loving husband of 26 years, Clarence Michael “Mickey” Whitten, three children: Dwayne Hendrix (Tammy), Jeanette Hendrix Cobb (Steve), and David McFadden (Debbie); two stepchildren: Amy Whitten Hall (David) and Payton Whitten (Mandy); ten grandchildren: Ashley Ayers Patrick, Christopher Hendrix, Amber Henderson, Jessica Hendrix, Andy Henderson, Corie Hendrix Ballard, Kenny Dukes, Braeden Whitten, Kaitlyn Whitten, and William Hall; ten great-grandchildren: Dalton Patrick, Oakley Cummings, Livie Patrick, Maddie Burress, Kinsley Hendrix, Gracelynn Swain, Bentley Hendrix, Austin Ballard, Braxton Ballard, and Emma Hairell; two brothers: Floyd Castleman and Olton “Buddy” Castleman; and a host of many other family and friends whom she loved dearly.

Mrs. Patsy Ann Whitten “Pat” left this earth for her Heavenly home on April 26, 2018. She passed away at her residence in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 72. She was born March 8, 1946 in Crockett County Tennessee to the late Jamie Levi “Jim” and Gracie Maureen “Grace” Castleman. She spent many years in the Bells and Jackson Tennessee areas. She spent the later part of her life in Memphis where she worked as a courier until her joyous and long awaited retirement. She enjoyed life very much, loved to sing, loved to make people laugh, and always wanted to have fun, making many friends and wonderful memories along the way. What she loved most of all, without a doubt, was her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Jim and Grace Castleman; sisters: Opal Carter and Audrey Jackson; and brothers: Paul Castleman, Marshall Castleman, Norman Castleman, and Chester Castleman.
