Lubbock- Jackie Farr Wood, 84, of Lubbock, passed away April 26, 2018. She was born on March 4, 1934, in Littlefield, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farr. After graduating from Littlefield High School, she attended Texas Tech where she met her future husband, Neil Wood. They were married in Littlefield on May 8, 1954, shortly before moving to El Paso where Neil was stationed during the Korean War. They then moved back to Littlefield where they lived for 56 years and raised their two children.

Jackie loved playing bridge, entertaining, traveling, decorating, attending Texas Tech football games, and her summers spent at their second home in Colorado. She adored her family and always looked forward to having her grandchildren around.

Jackie was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Littlefield, a Life Member of Delta Delta Delta, the Red Raider Club and PTA.

Survivors include her children, Mark and Kim Green and Blake and Renee Wood, all of Lubbock. Her grandchildren are Lauren and Justus Eubank and their daughter Campbell, Jake Green, Madison Wood, and Morgan Wood. She is also survived by a cousin, Betty Searsy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and. Mrs. Jack Farr, her husband of 60 years, Neil Wood, and many special friends.

A celebration of Jackie's life will be held at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 3 p.m. following a family burial at Resthaven.
