Hilda passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Amon of New Hamburg. Predeceased by her parents, Peter and Mary Hubert; a daughter, Nancy Heather in infancy and grandson, Adam Horst. Hilda was a member of Wilmot Mennonite Church and volunteered her time with the Wilmot Home Support Services, Nithview Home Seniors, the Marching Mothers, Ladies Auxiliary and the UCW. She served overseas as a photographer with the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. Hilda will be lovingly remembered for her creativity and humble humanity.
