NANCY JANE SKAGGS, 65, of Huntington went to be with her Lord Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, at her home. She was born Jan. 18, 1939, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Handley F. and Bertie Black Kerns. She was a loving and beloved wife of 40 years to her husband, Roger M. Skaggs.
Nancy and Roger had two children, one daughter; Tina J. Skaggs of Cleveland, Tenn., one son; John David Skaggs(Julia) of Huntington, WV., and three grandchildren; Jessica, Jenny and Jacob Skaggs. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James H. and Lucille Kerns of Proctorville, Ohio; a special cousin, Bobby Kennedy of Huntington.
She attended Grace Gospel Church, and a special thank-you goes to the church family for their love and support. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at Henson Mortuary, Pea Ridge.
