Elizabeth Lorene Bennett, 87, of Wichita Falls, passed away on December 1, 2020.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 1 PM, at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
Elizabeth was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on January 8, 1933 to Lee Roy and Era Mae (Parker) Nix. She married the love of her life, Robert Bennett in 1952 in the state of Ohio. Elizabeth worked for most of her life as an Optometry Technician for Texas State Optical. She was a member of the Lamar Baptist Church. She loved to cook and bake for her family and everyone that ever got the chance to have some of her cinnamon rolls were instantly hooked, they were the best.
Survivors include, 3 daughters;1 son;, 4 grandchildren;and 5 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert Bennett, her parents and 4 siblings; Colleen Stanford of Duncan, Oklahoma, Anne Moore of Iowa Park, Texas, Roy Nix of Nocona, Texas, and Duane Lockard of Wichita Falls, Texas.
