McMICHAEL, Jessie Dean Age 38, of Roseburg, passed away on Monday, April 13, 1998. He was born December 21, 1959 in Cottage Grove, Oregon, son of William Sanford and Eda Edith (Smith) McMichael. He was united in marriage to his wife Alicia on March 29, 1997 in Winston. They lived in Roseburg. Jesse enjoyed the outdoors including camping, fishing and gold mining. He also enjoyed bicycle riding and television. His favorite shows were The Dukes of Hazzard and old classics of the The Tree Stooges. Jessie was a member of the Winston Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to help people and was always willing to give a hand. Because of his helpful nature Jessie had many friends who could always count on him. He will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Alicia McMichael of Roseburg; brothers and sisters including Barbara, Norma Judi, Jacqueline, Jeanie, John Joseph and Willis. Also many nieces, nephews and cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Kimberly. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Winston Missionary Baptist Church, located on Cary Street in Winston on Monday, April 20, 1998 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Jessie's minister, Pastor Douglas Rogers. Private interment will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Myrtle Creek, Oregon.
