Smith (age 32) living in Crawfordsville with husband Frank B. (age 54) Smith. She married John A. Ruffner on or about July 28, 1945 in Montgomery County, Indiana. The 1950 Census shows Mary E. Ruffner (age 42) living in Crawfordsville with husband John A. Ruffner (age 69). After John's death in 1954, she married Rollo K. Hyers.
The gravestone of her second husband, John Ruffner, has her name and birth date inscribed on it. It is assumed she was buried next to him.
