Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth "Moonie" Gray Salsburg, 64, of Minden, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006 at Rose-Neath Chapel with Bro. Mike Wilkes and Walter Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Whispering Pines Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Minden.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. today, February 15.
Salsburg was born in Minden and died Feb. 13, 2006 in Webster Parish. She was a homemaker.
Salsburg was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Etoile Gray; one brother, Travis Gray; and one sister, Brenda Gray.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Salsburg of Minden; three sons, Michael McCoy of Minden, Scotty McCoy and wife Belinda of Minden and Jason Salsburg and wife Samantha Morgan of Shreveport; one daughter, Carlene Miller of Minden; five sisters, Beatrice Fathree of Bossier City, Judy Gray of Wylie, Texas, Bonnie Burgess and husband Glen of Doyline, Connie Valdez and husband Pedro of Doyline and Linda Gray of Minden; three brothers, Earl Gray of Minden, Rickie Gray and wife Gail of Minden and Ray Gray and wife Kay of Homer; seven grandchildren, Lori Miller of Erie, Kansas and Kimberly McCoy, Kaitlin McCoy, Morgan McCoy, Bruce Franklin, Brynn Franklin and Brandon Franklin, all of Minden; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Matthew Gray, Boyd Gray, Jamie Gray, Scott Maness, Mark Woods and Bobby Morgan.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Cammack, Randy Ray, Scotty Boothe, Kenny Smith and Brett Mazie.
