Edward "Gene" Finley was born July 28, 1954, to Letha (Blevins) and Walter G. Finley in Ardmore. He passed from this life on August 20, 2017, in Ardmore, at the age of 63. Gene was an Ardmore resident all of his life. He was saved again and served as a witness to individuals for the last 20 years. Gene loved Jesus and his family with all of his heart.
Gene was preceded in death by his father, Walter Finley; brother, Carroll Douglas James; grandparents John and Sarah Finley and Harvy and Lillie Blevins.
He is survived by his mother, Letha Fair and her husband, Buddy of Ardmore; sisters, Suzy Hartsell of Ardmore, Patricia Graham of Ardmore, Cynthia Clonts and her husband, Billy of Grand Praire, Texas, and Bonnie James of White Settlement, Texas; nephew, Phillip Graham; nieces, Kristi Hartsell, Denise Graham, and Philicia Graham; and numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins.
