A native of Pickens, SC, Mr. Neal was the son of the late Harry Edward and Maude Shead Neal. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in Vietnam and later retired from Bi-Lo. Mr. Neal attended Turning Point Church of God.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Neal is survived his sons: Brad Neal (Rhonda Hunter) of Seneca and Chad Neal (Amanda) of West Union; brothers: Horace Neal (Wilma), Ricky Neal and Donnie Neal (Susan) all of Walhalla; sisters: Lois Kelley and Herlene Land both of Walhalla; and five grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Neal was preceded in death by his brothers: Dennis, Larry and Jerry Neal.
Burial at Oconee Memorial Park.
