Brian P. Perkins, 64, of Point Place died surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday April 25, 2018. He was born to the late Alvin and Betty Perkins on June 30, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio.

Brian was a proud union member of the Boilermakers Local 85 and Laborers Local 500 Union, retiring in 2016. He made countless friends throughout his lifetime and left a lasting memory on all he met. He frequently traveled to Florida and worked on the Gulf Oil Rigs. Brian lived life to its fullest through boating, spending time with his family, and adventuring. He raced motorcycles, flat track motorcycling racing being his favorite. He was also quite the entrepreneur and always looking for some new venture, his most favorite being his hot dog cart, Perky’s Hot Dogs-Brats- Sausages- “The Dog that snaps!”

Brian is survived by his daughter Casey (Jacob) Weiser; siblings Michael L. (Gail) Perkins, David (Mary) Perkins, and Pamela (Stephen) Thompson-Toth; beloved grandchildren Blake, Owen, and Max; and many loving close nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday April 29, 2018 from 2:00p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St. Toledo, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Monday April 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, officiated by Father David Cirata. There will be a luncheon held following the service at the Ottawa River Yacht Club.
