Arthur D. Malone, 64, passed away unexpectedly at Baystate Medical Center on September 8, 2017. Born in Springfield on April 13, 1953 to Eugene and Dorothy (Walker) Malone, he was a custodian at Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical High School and a worker for the city of Springfield. He was also a local basketball referee for many years for all the inner-city leagues. He had a great love for music and family. He leaves children Tauran McCall, Arliss Malone and Latausha Cuffie-Barnett; siblings Richard, Robert and Dorothy Malone; sister-in-law Carmel Malone, six grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Terrance, Michael and Eugene Malone Jr. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 AM on September 14, 2017 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 45 Buckingham Street, Springfield with a service at 11 AM. New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield MA has been entrusted with the arrangements. www.nefcc.net
