Roberta Wolf, age 77, of Marlboro Township, passed away Tuesday evening January 17, 2017 in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. She was born February 24, 1939 in Johnson City, Tennessee to Robert and Ruth (Myers) Moles. Roberta graduated from Marlboro High School in 1956 and then the Aultman School of Nursing. As a registered Nurse she worked for Dr. Hirst in Marlboro, served as an administrator for Molly Stark Hospital then worked in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Akron City Hospital where she loved to rock the babies to sleep.
Mrs. Wolf was a passionate and dedicated member of East Nimishillen Church of the Brethren. She and her husband were youth advisors for many years. She helped organize many church events, loved working in the kitchen and was especially well known for her apple dumplings.
Roberta was especially proud of her family whom she dearly loved. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Eldon; daughter, Lisa Hammonds (Dina Tisi) of Canton; son, Bruce Wolf (Chris) of Canton; grandchildren, Melissa (Matt) Slusni of North Canton, Jenna (Bryan) Scafidi of Middleburg Heights; sisters, Faye Martin of Alliance, Karen Moles of North Canton; brothers, Neil (Eva Mae) Moles of Canton, Richard (Jackie) Moles of Hartville, Gary Moles (Jo) of Massillon, and her beloved cat Charlie.
