Carol Joan Ransom, 51, of Tunkhannock, died Wednesday at the Allied Hospice Center.
Born in Tunkhannock on Feb. 7, 1967, daughter of the late Harold and Joan Layaou Ransom, Carol was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The family would like to thank all friends and caregivers for helping Carol throughout her life.
Surviving are brothers, Richard "Skip" Ransom and wife, Paula, Springville; Brad Ransom, Falls; and Brent Ransom and wife, Elisabeth, Tunkhannock; sisters, Brenda Lanham and husband, Archie, Louisiana; and Renee Hunsinger and husband, James, Tunkhannock; three aunts; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock. Interment will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery.
