Ada was the daughter of Henry P. Shrock (11/12/1857-7/14/1925) and Sarah I. Weaver (1/23/1861-2/21/1943). Ada was the tenth of eleven children. She married Christian "Crist" C. Miller ( 8/24/1907-5/28/1978) on 11/6/1929. Ada and Crist had eight children-all girls! If Crist and Ada wanted to leave home for any length of time they had to make special arrangements for someone to take care of their invalid daughter, Esther.
