Pamela Jean (Franklyne) Macleod, age 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2018, in Houston, Texas. She was born April 17, 1933 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, to Francis and Gladys (Le Maitre) Franklyne. Pamela truly loved her children, cooking during the holidays, writing poems and painting. She worked in various office positions in the Spring Branch area over the past 35 years. She attended St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Houston. Pamela remained very active throughout her life. Her travels and adventures with her very dear friend, Praxedis (PA) Rivera, were cherished deeply as she continued to enjoy life into her later years. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gary and Gerald Franklyne, sister in law Marge Franklyne, husbands Denis Mason and John Macleod, and daughter Susan Trocki. She is survived by her dear friend PA Rivera, sister Margot Marre of Toronto, Canada, sister in law Jean London of Brossard, Quebec, son Brian Mason of Seattle, WA, son David Mason and wife Kimberly of Weimar, TX, and son Gary Macleod and wife Teresa of Spring, TX, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pamela’s life will be celebrated by family and friends during a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018, in the sanctuary of St. Michael Catholic Church, 410 N. Center St. in Weimar, Texas, 78962, (979) 725-6714. The Rite of Committal will follow in the church cemetery.

The family would appreciate memorial contributions in Pamela's name being directed to a charity of your choice.
