Pat Chambers, 83, of Everman, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, with her family by her side.
Patsy was born February 21, 1935 in Wichita Falls and grew up in Fort Worth, with her late mother, Viola Blair. Pat, the Matriarch of the family, was a longtime resident of Everman and was active for many years with the Senior Citizens Group, PTA, Softball and other community activities. She was known by many in the community for her fabulous down-home meals, many of which she made from scratch, especially her 18 lb. cobblers and wonderful cheese bread. Her door was always open to everyone and nobody left her home hungry. She always enjoyed doing crafts, making floral arrangements and sewing - making most of her children’s clothes when they were growing up. She was “Mom” to all her children’s friends and was always a very loving, caring and giving person. She always had a heart of gold, a smile on her face and a kiss and hug for everyone that came by. She enjoyed hosting parties for family, friends, community and seniors for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. She loved to decorate and celebrate the holidays! Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles “Rooster” Chambers in February 2017, her mother, Viola Blair in 1977, and a great granddaughter, Trinity Ann Faram, in 2014. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Jane Faram and her husband Steve of Everman, Cindy Roberts and her husband Bobby of Keller, Ginger Schuetz and her husband Dwain of Venus, and Rachel Chambers of Everman; her sons, Charles Chambers and his wife Diane of Weatherford, and Jess Chambers and his wife Kelli of Mansfield; grandchildren, Brook Faram Flores and her husband Jerry, Chasity Robinson, Brad Faram and his wife Liz, Casey Dearing and her husband Jake, Jake Chambers, Brittany Schuetz, Justin Schuetz and his wife Alexis, Ryan Broom and Reagan Broom; and 10 great grandchildren. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in the Everman Cemetery. Sons, Grandsons & Great Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
