T. E. (T-Bone) Bolin, 80, of Idabel, died at 11:50 p. m. Wednesday in an Idabel nursing home.
Services were at 2:00 p. m. Saturday, Oct. 7, in the Norwood-Welch Chapel in Idabel with the Rev. Rubin Ruiz and Rev. S. B. Parker officiating. Burial was in the Denison Cemetery in Idabel.Bolin was born March 19, 1892, in Texarkana, Ark., and had lived in Idabel since 1908, moving from Texarkana. He was a retired butcher and a farmer and served on the Idabel fire department for 10 years. He was chief for six years. He was a member of the Central Assembly of God Church.Survivors include his wife, Virgie; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd McMurtry of Idabel and Mrs. John Bain of Brokeb Bow; three step-sons, Wilburn Murphy of Columbia, S. C., Charles Murphy of Miami, Fla., and John Murphy of Kassel, Germany; two step-daughters, Mrs. Glen Gilbreath of Hobbs, N. M., and Mrs. James Pollard of Idabel; four brothers, John Bolin of Phoenix, Ariz., Jesse Bolin of Texarkana, Ark., Henry Bolin and Joe Bolin, both of Idabel; and two sisters, Mrs. V. M. Rothrock of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Miss Ophelia Bolin of Idabel; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and 13 step-grandchildren.McCurtain GazetteThursday, October 12, 1972
