Nancy was born on Feb. 5, 1942, in Johnstown. She was a daughter of the late William D. And Goldie M. (Mickle) Galbreath.
Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Richland High School in Johnstown, and after graduation she worked for Dean M. Wilson, D.D.S and Robert F. Huebner & Associates for many years before she retired.
After her retirement, she moved with her husband George to the Punxsutawney area.
She was a very active member of the One Life Church in Punxsutawney.
Nancy loved reading her Bible and spending time with her family and was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Nancy is survived by her beloved husband, George A. Marsh of Punxsutawney; their daughter, Tammy S. Shirey and husband John of Punxsutawney; two brothers, Gary E. Galbreath and wife Carol of Sidman, Kevin L. Galbreath and wife Serena of Florida; brother-in-law David Marsh and wife V. Joyce of Ebensburg; grandson Jordan M. Shirey and wife Hannah of Pittsburgh; her beloved great-granddaughter, Rebekah Joy, and another soon-to-be great-granddaughter due in September of 2018.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at One Life Church, with Pastor Guy Smith officiating.
Private interment will be in Richland Cemetery in Johnstown.
