David Preston Balisle, Jr., 49, Hyattsville, Md., died Thursday in Glen Burnie, Md.


Born January 22, 1924, at Bethel, he had been a resident of Maryland for ten years, moving from Wright City. He was a bus driver, a veteran of World War II and a menber of the Baptist church.


Survivors include one son, PLt. JG Phil Balisle of the US Navy; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. P Balisle, Sr. of Valliant; two brothers, Tom Balisle of Elm Grove, Wis., and Tony Balisle of Glen Ellen, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. David Henson of Valliant and Mrs. Don Wingfield of Richardson, Tex., and one grandchild.


Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. this morning in the Idabel Norwood-Welch Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Tom Cox, assisted by the Rev. Gerald Davidson, officiating.


Arrangements and burial in the Denison cemetery were under the direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, in Idabel's Norwood-Welch Funeral Chapel for David Preston Balisle Jr. of Hyattsville, Md., who died Thursday, Jan. 10, in Glen Burnie, Md.


The Rev. Tom Cox and the Rev. Garland Davidson officiated services and burial was in Denison Cemetery, Idabel.


Survivors include a son, Lt. Jg. Phil Balisle, with the U. S. Navy; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. P Balisle, Sr. of Valliant; two brothers, Tom Balisle of Elm Grove, Wis., and Tony Balisle of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Davis Henson of Valliant and Mrs. Don Wingfield of Richardson, Tex., and a grandchild.
