Gayle Stephens age 69 of Athens, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at her residence. She was born January 17, 1949 in Giles County, TN to Aubrey and Oma Treadway Alsup.
Mrs. Stephens loved gardening and was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, April 28th at 12:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bruce Alsup officiating. Visitation will be Friday, April 27th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Stephens, two sons, two daughters. One step-son, 4 grandchildren, step-grandchildren, one sister, several nieces and nephews.
