Opal Marion Whitaker was known as Marion to the Whitaker family. A quick wit and a happy personality, she was a delight to know. She and husband, Maurice, loved to travel in their later years and had many pictures to show friends and relatives. After Maurice passed away in Lincoln, NE, she moved to Colorado Springs to be near to her closest relative, a nephew. She lost a brave fight with cancer.
