Mary Ann Tilley, 92, of Exeter, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, while in the care of Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, and in the presence of loved ones.

Born in West Wyoming, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Parsons Taubar. She was a graduate of West Wyoming High School and a member of First Baptist Church, Wyoming. Maryann worked in the garment industry for Leslie Fay dress factories, prior to her retiring. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Upon retiring, she spent her time enjoying yard sales and flea markets.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton W. Tilley, on April 29, 2014; son Dennis Tilley; brother Richard Tauber; and sister Dorothy Klucsorits.

Surviving are her son, Gary C., and his wife, Mary Tilley, of Exeter; sister Carol Roth, of Kingston; and grandchildren; Christa and her husband, Chris Sharp, Erin Tilley, Gary and his wife, Sydney Tilley, Michelle and her husband, Gary Michak and Sarah Tilley. Great-grandchildren include Brandon Sharp, Aiden Deiter, Madison and Christian Michak. Also surviving are daughter-in-law Tina Tilley, of Edwardsville, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The Tilley family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to nurses and all staff at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, especially Dr. Robert Yanoshak for the extraordinary care provided to Mom in her final days.
