SHAFFER - Deborah S., 64, Hollsopple, passed away October 30, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 8, 1952 in Johnstown, daughter of Robert and Virginia (Firm) Merritts. Preceded in death by her parents and husband of 17 years Larry Shaffer who passed in 1987. Survived by children, Richard married to Sherrie (Schuck), Trina Stephen and companion Dominick Michael Sunseri, grandchildren, Chelsea Shaffer and Cameo Stephen, Hunter, Tommy Miranda and Savannah Shaffer, sister, Barbara Facciani, best friend Sue Wray and her wonderful neighbor Joanne Steck. She was a very loving mother and grandmother who devoted much of her time to her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and her beloved pets, Patches, KitKat, Chloe. She was the proud owner of Shaffers upholstery business. At Deborahs request there will be no viewing or service. Donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or the Joyce Murtha Cancer Center. John Henderson Co. Funeral Home is serving the family. www.hendersonfuneralhome.com
