Bonita Louise Doxey, 62, of Cameron, passed away with her husband by her side on Sunday, April 22, 2018.
She was born on November 12, 1955 in Elizabeth, LA. to her late parents, Willard and Jean Nolen. She enjoyed gardening, baking her custom Birthday Cakes, and most of all loved spending time with her grandbabies and family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, William Doxey; two sons, Willard Nolen, Wesley Doxey and wife Amber, both of Cameron; one brother, Johnny Nolen and wife Bessie of Oberlin; three sisters, Wandie Gary and husband Harry, Donnie Strother and husband Johnny, Debra Dougharty and husband Allen all of Pitkin; five grandchildren, Collin Doxey, Kamryn Nolen, Mallorie Griffith, Wells Griffith, Waylon Griffith; along with a nephew, Jared Griffith and wife Heather of Creole.

Bonita is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Edith LeDoux, and Maxine LeBlanc.

Services will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 1:00pm with Father Babasino Fernandes officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 5:00-9:00pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 10:00am until the procession to the church.

Burial will follow at Doxey Cemetery.
