Born 8-22-1934, passed away peacefully on 8-2-2017 surrounded by his family. His wife of 61 years, 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sister and countless friends remember him as good natured, funny, smart, generous, loving and kind. Thank goodness he was an avid civil rights advocate, with a long successful career in the Labor Department and EEOC, a tireless volunteer and a leader in countless federal, state, regional and community organizations. He loved the outdoors, especially golf, traveling, playing cards, and entertaining. He adored his family. He loved Christmas, good music, reading, art, and could be counted on for anything. Services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of Peace, 1121 228th Ave. SE, Sammamish. For more, please see www.flintofts.com.
