William Carmack Ellis, age 85, passed away April 24, 2018 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. He was born in Petersburg, TN and was a resident of Rutherford County. William served in the United States Airforce and a longtime salesman for Boiler Supply in Nashville..
William was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Carmack and Wynetka Barnes Ellis; wife, Nellie Mae Ellis; son, William "Billy" Carmack Ellis, Jr.; daughter, Katherine Schweppe; and brother, Maurice Ellis. He is survived by his sons, Christopher (Carol) Ellis of Murfreesboro; Thomas (Tonya) Coode of Murfreesboro; daughters, Angie (Kevin) Hughes of Murfreesboro, Leslie Crabtree of Lebanon, Amy Pelletier of Clarksville; brother, James Jimmy Ellis; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville with Dr. Lenny Farmer officiating.
