Christine Yvonne Nichols, 88 of Granbury, Texas, passed away April 24, 2018 She was born in San Angelo, Texas on September 12, 1929. Yvonne graduated from Lake View High School. She was married to Robert Nichols for 52 years. She had a 40 year career in banking and retired from First City National Bank. She was a charter member of the Fairground Rd. Church of Christ. Yvonne was active in the community of San Angelo and served on several boards namely CASA and Fort Concho Historical Society Boards. Yvonne also was also an active member of the Northside Lions Club. She had a passion for her church, community and her Lake View High School Class Reunions. She was survived by her children Deborah Wilson and husband Payton, Rodney and wife Stacy, Kristi Dobbins and husband Doug. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories her grandchildren Shayne Wilson and wife Allison, Ashley Grotelueschen and husband Jerry, Turner Dobbins, Jordan Lee Dobbins, McLean Dobbins, Eric Nichols, and Brandon Nichols; step-grandchildren, Wesley, Jeremy, and Shai Nunn; great grandchildren, Bryan and Taylor Wilson a brother Kenneth Turner and wife Nancy. A Life Celebration will be held 3-5pm on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, May 7 at 9:00 am at Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, 501 E Moore St, Granbury, TX. 76048
