Florence Barr of Hubbard RD2, Ohio, a native of Puzzletown, died at 2:30 p.m. yesterday, Sept. 25, 1977, at Ashcom Nursing Home, Sharon. She ws born July 22, 1905, a daughter of Alonzo and Margaret (Brown) Helsel, and married John E. Barr, who died May 7, 1971.
Surviving are eleven children, Mrs. Esther Couch and Mrs. Julia McCorston of Altoona, Mrs. Verna Helsley of Tyrone, Mrs. Mary Gunmo and Ted of Los Vegas, Nev., Mrs. Ethel Mae Brubaker of Duncansville, Mrs. Jean McCloskey of Greenwood, John and Clair of Hubbard and Harold and James of West Middlesex; 45 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and five brothers and sisters, Clair, Raymond and Norman of Roaring Spring, Mrs. Susan Richardson of Duncansville and Mrs. Hazel Carpet of Woodbury. Friends will be receivd in the Kelley and Son Funeral Home, Hubbard, Ohio from 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday.
BARR - Services for Mrs. Florence Barr of Hubbard RD2, Ohio, will be held in the Kelley & Son Funeral Home, Hubbard, Ohio, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Interment in Corner House Cemetery, Hubbard. Friends will be received in the funeral home form 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday.
