Educated in the Bibb County Public School System, Ann would attend Hampton University and subsequently graduated from Fort Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. She began her teaching career in Gray Georgia then transferred to the Bibb County Public School System where she would use her talents to serve the students at Fort Hawkins, Burghard, Bellevue and Brookdale Elementary Schools. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, the late Alfred Hugh Leonard Jr.; sister, Phyllis Elaine Leonard Morris and her child-pet, Mikey. She leaves to cherish many loving memories, a brother, Ronald (Jeanette) Leonard, Sr.; uncle, Dr. Bruce (Evelyn) Fort, Jr.; aunt, Mrs. Lillian Fort; brother-in-law, William Morris; sister-in-law, Carline Miles Leonard and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
