Willie Moseley Sparkman Jr., 68, of Crawford, Texas, passed away April 12, 2007, at Quality Care of Waco in Waco. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Center City Cemetery in Center City, Texas, with the Rev. Dr. Jack Zimmerman. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Quality Care of Waco.
Willie was born in Minden, Texas, to Willie Moseley Sparkman Sr. and Sadie Ozella Head. He lived in Crawford, Temple and Waco, and was a Southern Baptist. Willie was a long-time barber in Crawford, where he was known as "Barber Bill."
He was preceded in death by his dad; and his sister, Walter Willene Sparkman.
He is survived by his daughters, Doris Ann Sparkman and Terri Lynn Sparkman, both of Crawford; his mother, Sadie Ozella Head Sparkman, of Crawford; and sisters, Beulah Brown, of San Angelo, Texas, and Donna Zimmerman, of Houston.
