Lois Adele (Corson) Hunter, 78, of Harleysville, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Greenfield Senior Living of Lansdale.

She was the loving wife of the late Charles George Hunter for 50 years. Lois was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Russell Corson and the late Helen (Anthony) Corson.

She graduated from Germantown High School in Philadelphia, class of 1957. Lois worked as a secretary for Curtis Publishing in Philadelphia and then for Buick Motors in Philadelphia. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Lois lastly worked in retail sales for various businesses in the Lederach & Skippack area.

She was a member of the Harleysville Woman's Club. Lois volunteered for Meals on Wheels and volunteered in the gift shop at Peter Becker Community in Harleysville.

She loved crafting, needlepoint, sewing, knitting, and made her own Christmas stockings for her family. Lois enjoyed going to craft shows as a vendor with her husband. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking them to New York City and traveling to the beach. Lois was a veracious reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching her favorite soap opera, "All My Children". She was a diehard EAGLES fan.

Lois was witty, had a great sense of humor, and loved making people laugh. She was especially known for her use of puns. She was fiercely loyal and was always willing to help others.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Wendy Suzanne Pesce & husband, Martin of Quakertown, PA; her son, David Scott Hunter & wife, Sandi of Harleysville, PA; four grandchildren – Andrea, Meredith, Jair, & Dominic; her sister, Anne Redfield of Myrtle Beach, SC; and her two nephews, Robert Redfield of Northridge, CA & Bruce Redfield of Myrtle Beach, SC.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, Souderton, PA.
