Lewis Storms
September 10, 1934 - April 19, 2018


Lewis H. Storms, age 83, formerly of Dexter, Missouri died April 19, 2018 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

He was born in Vanduser, Missouri on September 10, 1934 to the late Ermon M. and Hazel I. Clark Storms.

He graduated Vanduser High School and Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in Education and began his teaching career in Bloomfield in 1957 and later Campbell. He finished his 31 year teaching career as a middle school science teacher in the Dexter Public School System. He was a life time member of Missouri State Teachers Association.

He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Sharon Storms of St. Charles, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Larry Richard of Overland, MO; three nieces; one nephew; seven great nieces; and two great nephews.

Visitation is scheduled Friday, April 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28.

Interment will follow in the New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
