Anna Stephanie (Yanowski) Cimino, 91, was a daughter of the late Anna Stolarik and Stanislaw Thomas Yanowski. After attending John Bigsby School, Anna lived independently and supported herself by working at the Bellevue Maternity Hospital, Aukenpaugh Restaurant, Holland Inn, and Edgewood Restaurant. She married her husband, John A. Cimino, in 1955. The couple was happily married for 57 years until his passing in 2012. Her interests included playing cards and board games with her family, growing flowers and caring for animals, especially Jasper the rabbit and her dogs. Anna was also a strong swimmer who loved the ocean and lakes.

Anna is survived by her five children..; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Other remaining family includes her cousin...; sisters-in-law..; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Anna was predeceased by her three siblings, Mary Sharpley, Nelly Zeh and Stanley Yanowski . She was also predeceased by her closest friends, Isobel, Wanda and Alice; and sister-in-law Anne.
