Brandon, MS - Patricia N. "Pat" Bounds, 82, of Woodgate Dr., passed away peacefully early Friday morning, April 20, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Monday, April 23 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bounds was born on March 29, 1936 in Tunica County to the late Frank and Katherine Parnell Nix. She was a retired RN of 54 years in Jackson. She was dedicated to her spiritual walk with God, a loving wife and a wonderful mother and grandmother. Mrs. Bounds was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church where she volunteered with Homebound Ministries. She served with a "servant's heart" to all of those she came in contact with including her church and her community.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Bounds, Sr.
Survivors include her son, Robert Bounds, Jr.; daughters, Teresa Borne, Judy Hunter (Roy), and Shelli Bounds; brothers, Curt Nix and Paul Nix; grandsons, Mathew Bounds (Erica), Foster Borne (Trisha), and Ian Hunter; granddaughter, Shelby Hunter and great grandson, Travis.
