Ronald Eugene Abbott, age 56 of Friday Harbor, Washington, and formerly of Elwood died July 8, 2006 unexpectedly while working for the Washington State Parks Department.

He was born on May 30, 1950 in Brown County, Indiana.

He worked for the Washington State Parks Department and also previously worked in the telecommunications industry. He was veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include: Mother and Step-Father – William and Ellen (Hauk) Farr of Elwood; Sister – Linda Frazier of Lake City, FL; 5 Brothers – Arthur A. Abbott of Elwood, James B. Abbott of Elwood, Paul N, Abbott of Elwood, Daryl G. Abbott of Elwood, Edward T. Fettig of Elwood.

He was preceded in death by his father - Arthur Abbott.
