Lois's Obituary
Lois Lillian Stevens, 82, of Bauxite, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2003. Born June 30, 1920, she was the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Curtis) Bowman. Mrs. Stevens was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and the Bryant Senior Adult Center. Preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and five sisters, she is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Riley Stevens; one son, Phillip Stevens (Linda) of Hot Springs; two daughters: Frankie Noel, of Bryant, and Sue Adams (Bob), of Bauxite; one sister, Beth Good (Sie), of Mt. Vernon, Washington; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. A Gathering in Remembrance of Mrs. Stevens will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Chapel, 10200 Highway 5 N, Little Rock, 455-1067, with Reverend Rick Porter, and Mrs. Stevens' nephew, Reverend Neal Stevens officating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 5, 2003, at the funeral home.
