CHURCH HILL – Wanda Faye Collins, 80, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. Faye was a member of Indian Ridge Baptist Church and a devoted and loving wife, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and great aunt.
She is preceded in death by her parents Kelly & Blanche Gray, sister Mary Lois Gray, brother Wayne Gray, mother & father-in-law Betty & Heiskell Collins, and nephew Danny Greer.
Faye is survived by her husband of 58 years Samuel Glenn Collins, sisters, Valdene Connell (Gary) & Donna Webb (Scott), brothers David Gray (JoAnn) & Jimmy Gray (Wanda), nieces Marta Greer, Aimee Hurd, Leigh Ann Connell, Kim Winston, Rebecca Turnage, nephew Chris Gray, great nieces and nephews Anna Gray, Kelli Greer, Victoria Simm, Natalie Winston, Kellie Jones, Garriann Turnage, Jacob Greer, John Henry Winston, Carson Kelly Winston, and Harrison Simm.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at McPheeters Bend Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 PM. The family will be serving as pallbearers.
