Margaret May Anderson age 95 of Brainerd formerly of Crosby died on April 20, 2018 at the Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. She was born on August 26, 1922 in Anoka to Harry and Ethel (Lapham) McGaffey. Margaret married Lawrence Anderson on May 23, 1950 in Minneapolis. She was a WWII Army Air Corp, WAC veteran. A member of the Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd and the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Post #557 of Deerwood.

Margaret is survived by one son, John (Ivonne) Anderson of Niceville, FL; three daughters, Linda Wilcox of Brainerd, Janice (Les) Wilson of Milton, FL and Marty (Ben) Hann of Deerwood; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Preceding Margaret in death are her parents and her husband, Lawrence.

A memorial service will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Woodland Good Samaritan Village Chapel. A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 until the time of the service. Burial will be at the Bay Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Koopfuneralhome.com
