Daughter of Frances Anna (née Birt) & Archibald Conway.

Kathleen enlisted in the Australian Army Nursing Service on 14 May 1915. She served as a Nurse in the Egyptian Expeditionary Force, six months on board HS 'Assaye' taking wounded from Gallipoli and later at Port Said and Cairo. She returned to Australia on 7 May 1919 and was demobilised.
Awarded the Royal Red Cross (2nd Class) on 3 June 1919, Silver War Badge, 1914/15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal.
She died aged 88 years.
