Rita was born in Denver in 1929 to Michael and Mary Kennedy. She passed away peacefully in her home on April 17. Rita was pre-deceased by her loving husband Bob and her daughter Mary Michael. She is survived by her 7 children, Christine (Allan), Susan (Dan), Robin Richardson, Rick (Caroline), Robert (Maryann), Melissa (Mark), and Monica Hill, 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and brother Jerry (Joan) and sister Maureen Kennedy.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rita's memory to the Sisters of Loretto Community of Littleton or; The Capuchin Poor Clares of Denver.
