His parents preceded him in death. On March 29, 2018, Danny departed this life at Liberty Regional Medical Center leaving his family to cherish his loving memories.
Danny grew up in Midway, where he attended public schools in Liberty County. He also graduated from Earl C. Clemmons Job Corps in Kentucky. He was employed by OMI for 10 years until he became unable to work.
He loved dancing, telling jokes, fishing and spending time outside. He loved his family and spending time with friends.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Carletha (Conetha) Golden Roberts of Midway; four daughters, Jessica D. Golden, Chasady S. Golden, Tominka Roberts all of Hinesville, and Jadayla R. Hemphill of Midway; three sons, Terry Singleton Jr., Thomas Roberts, both of Hinesville, and Adorian Roberts of Savannah; eight grandchildren; one sister, Darlene (Carlos) Gonzalez of Hinesville; six brothers-in-law, Willie (Lashandra) Miller Jr. of Pembroke, Thurston Hargrove of Atlanta, Teddy Hargrove and the Rev. Terrance (Shanna) Hargrove, both of Bristol, CT, Earl (Heather) Roberts of Midway and Ronald Barrett of Hinesville; one sister-in-law, Kelly Miller of Midway; father-in-law, Ted (Betty) Hargrove of Midway; grandmother, Helen W. Scott of Midway; two best friends, Delroy Leslie and Bennie Stewart; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at Dorchester Funeral Home, 7842 E. Oglethorpe Hwy., Midway.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 6, at the Frank V. Givens Memorial Chapel of Dorchester Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Simmons Cemetery
