SOUTH BEND - Erica Nicole Jenkins, 36, of Ewing Street, South Bend, IN, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Memorial Hospital.

Erica was born to Johnny Benjamin and Nina (Winston) Jenkins on June 11, 1981 in South Bend, IN. She graduated from Riley High School in 2000 and worked as a manager for Krogers for three years. Her passions were her family, cookouts, and gospel music; her favorite song was “Be Encouraged” by William Becton.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include her mother, Nina Jenkins and stepfather, Gary Herd; father, Johnny Jenkins; sister, Janelle D. Jenkins; two brothers, Aaron and Brandon Jenkins; special niece, Jennae' Bradshaw; special cousin, Natasha Butler; special friends/sisters, Ardelia, DeAnn, Linda, LeToya, DeNean, and Yvette along with other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Pentecostal Cathedral with viewing from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted with ALFORD'S MORTUARY.
